Helping make syllabi for everyone
Simple Syllabus is committed to helping everyone who visits our platform feel welcome and find the experience rewarding. This begins by designing technology that is accessible by all users, including users with disabilities. We understand that these technological needs are constantly evolving and will continue to update our approach as new opportunities become available.
To help us make the Simple Syllabus platform a positive place for everyone, we’ve been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible for people of all abilities and user-friendly for all users.
The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA, and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Simple Syllabus website and test all new functionality for conformance during the Quality Assurance process.
Request the VPAT
We’re working hard to achieve our goal of WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance. Our VPAT explains where we are at and what we’re doing to make that happen. Not only does the Simple Syllabus team perform regular audits as part of our quality assurance program, but we have worked with two different external firms to assess the platforms accessibility.
Please fill out the form on the right and one of our team members will reach out with your requested documentation.
